Can anyone use the speed reading software? The software should be suitable for grades 1-12 and have levels for adults too. This not only allows adults and children to use this software, but if you are not good or above average readers, the program will be flexible enough to accommodate your needs. We have taught to groups of students in University. When you get your reading list at the beginning of the semester, would it not be great if you read the whole lot on the first day, and the rest of your study is revision? Anyone can speed read and use speed reading software. We have had all sorts of people on our courses in differing countries. House-wives, students, doctors, business persons, government agencies, actors, solicitors, IT professionals, sports people, writers, all are welcome, to come with an open mind, and the ability to try and to play. We have taught in-house for companies, who have had so much paperwork to get through, that now instead of taking hours to read, is accomplished in minutes, giving time to get on with the job. How to read an academic bookIt's fairly obvious that reading an academic text isn't like diving into a juicy novel. For a start, sometimes it's just too hard to get a grip on the material on a first read-through. There are different ways of attacking your course material, however, whether you're doing an intensive analysis of just one chapter or skimming a whole text for the cream of the information. Reading an academic book takes concentration. It's easy to get frustrated when you initially find a book difficult to understand at the first sitting. Reading an academic book is not like flipping through a magazine or even a work of fiction. Academic books take more time and effort. In some cases you may need to read a section of an article or book a number of times. For intensive reading, read section by section or a few pages at a time. Read each section a few times over and make notes. If you are still finding the information difficult to understand, find other sources on the same topic. Go back to introductory books and then return to your original source for another try. However, do not discount the fact that what you are reading may be poorly written. Just because it is published does not mean it is well written. Remember this yourself in your own writing; long-winded sentences packed with big words do not make good writing or good reading. Look around for more clearly written pieces on the same topic by other authors.
Speed reading tips
Speed reading tip. For best results, don't start right in by forcing yourself to read at 800 wpm, especially if you have been a habitually slow reader. Instead, as you become more fluent at reading easy materials rapidly, you will find that Tips 1, 2, and 3 will become part of your new reading habits. Then you can concentrate on increasing your rate with no loss of basic literal comprehension.
About Magic Speed Reading software
Read faster! The paradoxical truth is that when reading matter is fairly easy, our comprehension actually drops if we read it too slowly. For one thing, we can miss the flow of the writer's story line or argument. For another, our minds wander if we don't feed them information at an optimum speed; that is, we "lose concentration." Many studies have shown that average readers can often double their rate in general reading with no loss of basic comprehension. Many even increase their comprehension because they concentrate better at the higher speeds. Speed reading techniques
